What we collect

When you create or sign a card, we collect:

• Your name (so it appears on the card)
• Your email address (so you can edit your message and the recipient can thank you)
• The message you write and any photos/audio you upload
• Your country (auto-detected from your browser, used to localise content)
• A hashed version of your IP address (used only for spam protection — we don't store the raw IP)

What we do with it

• Show your message on the card you signed
• Email you a copy of the card and an edit link
• Notify the card creator when you sign
• If you opt in, occasionally email you about new features or related cards

What we don't do

• Sell your data — ever
• Share it with advertisers
• Use it for ad targeting

Where it lives

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, with the database hosted in the Asia-Pacific region. Email delivery uses Brevo (EU-hosted). Payments use Stripe.

Your rights (NZ Privacy Act 2020)

You can ask us at any time to: (a) tell you what we hold about you, (b) correct anything wrong, (c) delete your data. Email privacy@brindo.cards and we'll respond within 20 working days.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie when you sign in to your dashboard, and one cookie that remembers if you've dismissed the cookie banner. We don't use any third-party tracking cookies.

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Or email privacy@brindo.cards.
